Do I need to Pre-book Tickets?

Although you are not required to pre-book tickets and they can be purchased at the gate on the day, we strongly encourage that you pre-purchase tickets online in order to secure your preferred date due to capacity regulations that are in place.

Do you have a program?

Yes, please click here. The program is located on the "What's On" page.

How much is entry?

2024 Ticket pricing - Adult Entry $30, Child Entry $15. Family Entry (2 adults/2 children) $75, Concession Entry $15, Student Entry (16/17 years) $15.

Am I required to book a date when purchasing tickets online?

Yes, your date will be required at the time of purchase.

Will parking be available?

Yes, there are two parking locations. Car parking at Wanderers Car park $5 and Richardson Park $10 cash and EFTPOS. Proceeds of parking go to local charities PCYC and Marine Rescue

Is public transport close?

Yes, Broadmeadow Rail station is right next to the Showground and buses run regularly along Griffiths Road – click here for Newcastle Transport information

What are the dates of the event?

The Newcastle Show will be held at the Newcastle Showground from the 1 - 3 March 2024.

Can I leave the venue and come back?

There are no pass out available to come and go from the showground.

Does The Outback Experience cost more money?

No, The Outback Experience is included in the entry price along with many other attractions such as the fireworks, animal nursery, Hot Wheels Stunt Show, Airtime Motor Bike Stunt Show, horse events, Innovation, Skills and Career Expo and more

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final and no refunds will be offered, so please make purchasing decisions carefully.

Is there a disability viewing platform?

Yes, located directly in front of the Member’s Grandstand

Is there is a quiet space? ?

There is a ‘quiet’ space with Aruma located under the grandstand
